A Scratch DJ icebreaker for business conferences!
Bizarre as this may sound - it really works!
Lee brings in a full set of turntables and a small PA to teach there and then how to be a Hip Hop Scratch DJ.
After some fun, explanation and a live demonstration the gauntlet is thrown out to the participants for a DJ competition.
Volunteers are selected and put head to head for a DJ scratching competition judged by the other people in the room.
CEO's and senior managers are given the chance to be a superstar DJ for a few minutes, displaying their new found skills to an encouraging audience!
A prize can be awarded to the winner and an unforgettable 'water cooler' moment is born.
Seeing leaders in new situations without embarrassing them is a powerful team building tool and breaks down barriers.
This has worked well in many situations, notably at the retailer Maplin during their annual store managers training day where managers from around the country fought it out for a prize of a
full set of turntables donated by a sponsor.

The DJ session can be a stand alone icebreaker at the beginning of the day or for after lunch during the 'graveyard shift' or it can also be developed into a session on 'work-life balance' and 'playing to your strengths'. A short demo can last 20 minutes to an hour depending on your requirements.
